Creatures of Ithia Expanded: The Fetch the Fae Death Omen.

An Advanced Creature Profile by Vincent Groth.

The Fetch standing six inches tall with pure white skin as smooth as polished marble, arms and legs in blackest fur, hair, claws, and hooves of blood red, great floppy ears, flat featureless faces with slits for eyes, thin straight horns, four dragonfly wings.

The Fetch are professional Death Omens serving the Fae Queens, various deities, and Gods. Called upon to foretell a chosen mortal’s death and help lead them to their salvation. Fetches can bend fate and nudge odds and twist luck. Though what they grant in boons shall be returned in banes to balance it out. Weapons not of Iron cannot harm a Fetch, this includes iron alloys such as Steel. Their wings spread a fine glittery dust that disrupts spells that physically manifest. Fetches can turn translucent making them harder to see. Fetches can see all possible deaths of those they touch.

Fetches serve as Death Omens and are recruited by Fae Queens, Princesses, Lords, and Ladies as well as various deities to help lead chosen and preferred people away from certain death.

Like most Fae Fetches are eternal and if their mortal body is destroyed, they will reappear at their designated bed. They never age and remain appearing as fresh adults, or whatever age they choose to appear as. Fetches are extremely vulnerable to Geasa and other bindings. Fetches also can receive severe karmic backlash if they manipulate luck too much.
