Creatures of Ithia Expanded: The Snogre.

An Advanced Creature Profile by Vincent Groth.

The Snogre stands twelve feet tall. Snogre are made from a moose, can reproduce, and function outside of the Horde. Snogre are large heavy set Ogrekin covered in thick white fur, with too large teeth, antlers, and overly long clawed arms. They only visible skin is their rough leather faces. Snogre are generally the fattest of the Ogres, have water resistant fur and females grow webbing on their hands and feet.

Snogre are strong, highly adapted to cold climates, are excellent swimmers, can hold their breaths extended periods of time, and can enter periods of stasis when there aren’t enough resources.

Snogre hunt differently along gendered lines with male Snogre persistence hunting on land and females serving as ambush predators in arctic waters. They are feral greenskins and while they don’t serve the Horde are not actively hostile to other Ogres. Snogres are the only feral Ogre species that works in packs.

Snogres are dim, bestial, and have some of the weakest of the feral ogre sensory abilities. The oils they produce to protect their bodies and fur from freezing reacts poorly with heat and while not highly flammable when ignited it can be extremely difficult to extinguish.
