An Advanced Creature Profile by Vincent Groth.
The Truglin stands eight feet tall. Truglins are formed from Haltheris’ muscle tissue, can’t reproduce, and can’t function outside of the Horde. They are stout for Ogres, thick, covered in thick fur, loose skin, and large bladed tusks. Their hulking bulk forces them to hunch over dragging their knuckles when walking or using them in addition to their legs.
Truglin are dull creatures, slow, but not stupid. They can perform simple tasks adequately and are loyal to the Ogres exclusively rather than further down the hierarchy. They are stronger than most trolls and their loose skin and heavy fur protects them from many injuries from other Ogres. Truglin seem to be too simple minded to be influenced with magic that affects the minds of other sapient being.
Truglin are used as heavy laborers moving siege weapons, carts, and handling important or expensive equipment that can’t be trusted to lesser members of the Horde.
Truglin are slow, lumbering, and simple creatures who obey the greater Ogre species and the whips.
