Slàine Gealach: Adopted Daughter of Zatolen, Master of Spell and Sword, Symbol of Norish Freedom. 

 Nicknames: The Royal Rose, The Lady of Roses, The Savage Sword, The Breaker of Creag ard, The Lamb, and The Sacrifice. 

When the Creag ard came as conquerors as unifiers of the Norish lands they slaughtered her village she escaped into the woods and was saved from the marauders by Carth. She was raised, trained, and armed by Zatolen, Mealis, and their close friends. Slaine has mastered the art of the Sword and Shield with Mealis, learned magic from Septriss and the Fox Goddess, trained in tactics with Ondra’Seir and Mara’Dia, learned deception and stealth from Na’Tally and Ko’Gin, learned survival skills, and the art of bow and spear from the Wolf and Bear Gods, and brought down the rising nation state of the Norkin and stalled the first rise of the Evar conquest. She has faced the demi-god son of Ondra Seir, stood against Dirk Wesser, and survived sparing Carth. An adopted daughter of Zatolen and Mealis while not the most powerful of the Hand of Thorns she is one of the most versatile. 

Slaine is tall, beautiful in a barbarian way, muscular, well-armed and armored, with long hair the color of the flesh of a ruby grapefruit. She has Sunkissed skin from her travels and violet irises ringed in scarlet. She has scars from her mortal time and having faced the pain and suffering of being crucified by her foes. She is marked by the large fur trimmed cloak, a gift from Zatolen, a large wooden shield with the face of a bear painted on its face, a gift from The Bear God, and a long-shafted spear from the Wolf Goddess. Her sword gleaming silver burns with holy fire when in the presence of monstrous humans and was a gift from her adopted mother Mealis. Over one shoulder she carries the flag of the Norkin she helped lead into existence on the other is a pauldron hammered from the helm of the Creag ard Chieftain Iomharach. She wears an amulet that houses a small scarlet star.
