The Onyx Troll stands sixteen feet tall. Onyx trolls are formed from large onyx stones carved with runes and painted. They can’t reproduce and can’t function outside of the horde. They have a thick hide studded with onyx studs making them the most evenly armored troll species. They have long horns and prominent tusks. They have less brutish faces than other trolls and often have strange colorings based on what the stone looked like in creating them. 

The Onyx Troll is the most evenly armored of the trolls, strong, more agile than other Trolls of its size, and more cunning. Their blood petrifies into onyx spikes giving it both defense and passive offense.  

The Onyx Trolls serves the Cyclops as their personal guard. They are rarely seen unless escorting the most elite of the Horde’s leadership.  

The Onyx Trolls heal faster than most trolls, their unique blood petrification prevents them mostly from petrifying their insides as spikes seem to naturally shoot outward over larger wounds. They are slow due to their heavier weight but not clumsy. They are very few in number and killing one is a costly expense for the Horde. They are vulnerable to some magic. ome magics.
