An Advanced Creature Profile by Vincent Groth.
The Lime Troll stands twelve feet tall. Lime trolls are formed from large chunks of limestone, can reproduce, and can’t function outside of the Horde. The weakest of the ‘True’ Trolls they have thick skin and bones like stone. They are heavy set, lumbering, and have large, clawed hands.
The Lime Troll blood petrifies into Limestone giving them natural armor, sealing wounds, and stopping bleeding. As wounds heal the grown stone flakes off.
The Lime Troll is the most common and weakest of the true Trolls and form the bulk of the heavy units of the Greenskins. Still relatively rare they form small monstrous support units along larger greenskin forces.
The Lime Troll’s body petrifies its blood when it contacts oxygen. This makes large piercing wounds the most dangerous. Their bodies build stoney masses from their blood which while providing protection limits mobility. Lime Trolls often die from clotting when petrified blood enters the blood stream.
