An Advanced Creature Profile by Vincent Groth.
The Tide Troll stands six feet tall. Tide trolls are formed from mossy gravel, can reproduce, and can function outside of the Horde. They have large webbed and clawed hands and feet. Big ears that can fold flat when in water, aerodynamic hairless bodies, and large tusks. They have gills along their neck.
The TIde Troll is the most agile of the trolls and capable of moving rapidly through water and across land. Their long limbs allow them to climb easily. They can breathe on land and in fresh or saltwater depending on their native habitat.
The Tide Troll is a light coastal raider, an aquatic worker bringing in food and resources from beneath the waters. Some Tide Trolls work in seaweed and shellfish farms beneath the waters to help keep the Horde fed.
The Tide Trolls once adapted to a form of water cannot breathe safely in the alternative. They cannot calcify their blood like most trolls making them vulnerable to physical attacks.
