The Fade is an inverse spell caster drawing magic inward. They are powerful warriors, mercenaries, and thugs. Overuse of Fade magic causes excess growth in height and muscle as well as strain and damage to skeletal structures.  

The Fade draws magic into their body augmenting their physical strength, stamina, and durability. They can increase their physical abilities almost indefinitely at the risk of tearing their own skeleton apart. They can completely suppress pain and fatigue. Fades also tend to become increasingly reckless as their magic gives them a sense of invincibility. Many Fade die when they stop channeling their magic to wounds, they didn’t realize they took. 

The Fade are born with their abilities and have no formal organization or standardized ranks.
