There are those driven by pride, by love, by hatred, by duty. Some like Dirk are driven by insecurity ever dreaming that they’ll feel like they are enough. That when they’re gone the world will be a better place for their time here. Dirk Wesser son of Zatolen and the mortal Abigail Wesser was loved by both of his parents and raised in the sprawling cabin that Zatolen makes home. He grew up beside the Siblings, strived to match his full god siblings and when his brother the Bull slew his sister the Rabbit, he sought to avenge her and nearly shared her fate. Feeling a failure, bloody and broken, out classed and under his siblings he tore out his still beating heart bound it in the blood of his father, incased it in the light of his second mother figure Mealis, and sealed it in an oath from Vutha that so long as others might suffer the loss of those they love his heart would beat on driving him as an avenging darkness. Not a figure of mercy or understanding but all the terror of the abuser; he gave to his father his heart to keep it safe for its destruction is all that can truly put down Dirk. Dirk Wesser leads, and is the second most powerful of, the twelve great warriors that serve Zatolen as immortal servants to his goals. Wesser is a master of fighting with his oversized greatsword, a powerful Magi, a competent horseman, and trained in tracking.
Dirk Wesser is handsome with tanned skin, a single scarlet eye like a distant brilliant star, black hair that bleeds into shadow running down to his waist leaving him outlined in a hazy halo of night. He wears black plate armor that covers his form in spiked joints save for an opening on his chest where a bloody wound shows the cavity of his missing heart. His right eye is covered by a patch, and he carries and wields one handed his sword the Harbinger of the Avenging Dark a massive great sword of steel blackened from blood and toil. An old blood-stained stuffed bunny, along with other trinkets, hang from his belt.
