An Advanced Creature Profile by Vincent Groth.
The Hob is a larger goblinoid standing four to five feet tall. They are made from bits of foxes and bats, cannot reproduce, and are able to survive away from the Horde for limited periods of time. They are lean, athletic, made for speed and endurance with large ears like a fox, skin of grey with orange and black splotches. Their mouths distend slightly into slight muzzles, and they have small beady eyes.
The Hob is lean and fast meant for running and swift movement over uneven terrain and obstacles. They are highly flexible with highly sensitive hearing, powerful voices that can carry distances and make subsonic noises to communicate shorter distances. They have strong senses of smell and night vision as well.
The Hob is a creature designed for scouting, delivering messages, announce dignitaries, and as light skirmishers. As they are exclusively male Hobs usually aren’t wasted in front line combat.
Hobs dislike high pitched noises as it irritates their ears, they dislike holy energies save for the light of Siger. They lack the self-sealing blood of many of the greenskins and cannot reproduce making the only way to produce them being a divine servant of Haltheris or a Goblin Broodmother.
