An Advanced Creature Profile by Vincent Groth.
The Common Goblin is the most prolific of the Greenskin species. Originally made from ferns but can reproduce and are bound to the Horde. Small, weak, and expendable. The Common Goblin has large rattish ears, skin which comes in various shades of green, and with slick hair that comes in black, brown, and red. While male goblins tend to be more savage in appearance most green skin females tend to be made to appear attractive towards the more common humanoids. Originally meant as a failsafe to keep the Horde alive even when the males have been wiped out.
Goblins are physical weak compared to most humanoids but are decently strong for their size. Goblins ‘blood’ is more viscous than mammals and quickly seals wounds. They are well endowed in the ability to hear and can see more colors than humans. Goblins can emit a sub-sonic sound they can hear but most humanoids can’t allow them to communicate at distances with sound without alerting enemies. They can process sunlight into energy to supplement their diets via photosynthesis.
Goblins are light menial labor capable of lighter tasks they’re also used for skirmishing troops, expendable forces, and mass infantry. While slightly weaker than most humanoid children given a sharp stick they can do a decent amount of damage in large numbers.
Goblins are suspectable to salt and focused holy energy though they are unphased by the light of Siger. Goblins are extremely diurnal and have trouble staying awake when not in sunlight. They are small and weak no match for most humanoids in physical abilities let alone reach. Various toxins harmful to both mammals and plants, specifically ferns, are effective against Goblins.
