Creatures of Ithia: The Do na Feola.

The Do na Feola are strange creatures often mistaken for Fae but they are capable of true death. It is believed they are a byproduct from the binding and breaking of the Fae Queen Viilnor. The Do na Feola are bigger than the other creatures of the Hills and are much less reliant on the power of their false fae blood. The bite of iron slows their healing, and the bite of silver poisons their bodies, but it requires the addition of Hawthorn or Rowan wood stakes to finally truly kill these nightmares. Symbols of Faith and Religion can repel the Do na Feola as can symbols of the heart for they are entirely of the body. They are named after fire as their hunger is without end.

The Ocras an Chraicinn are the most common of the Feola and are of the flesh. They are tall, high muscular with thick layers of chitinous shell arms like a praying mantis, a face with eight pinpoint eyes, a maw of rows of sharp teeth along with a pair of chelicerae which contain a paralytic venom. They have black shiny shells with bright pink, red, and purple streaks. They feed of raw flesh loving to feed on live prey rendered immobile by their bite. The Chraicinn can use Glamour adequately.

The Ocras an Chroi are rarer Feola with ashy flesh with thick armor shells on their backs. They have long arms ending in sharp clawed hands. Their heads have a chitinious head with a large pincer over its mouth, their heads are longer than most humanoids with eight eyes spaced across it giving it a constant view around it. They have long tails with a stinger. The Chroi are known for spitting a boiling liquid onto their prey to cause pain, discomfort, and confusion as they close in. They feed on raw hearts exclusively.

The Ocras an Cnamha are the largest of the Chroi almost double the size of their brutish kin. The Cnamha have large crushing jaws, a large, forked horn like a beetle with thick armored shells layered over their bodies. They have smaller wings which aren’t strong enough to carry them for more than short slowing bursts. They have two large humanoid arms with two smaller ones positioned to rend and crack open bones with their small powerful pincers. They are dimwitted and easily distracted by shiny objects and bright lights. They feed on marrow and bone.
