Demons of the Circle of Deceit serve Kreik the Minor. Their plane is a dark, putrid place with will-o-wisps, blue fire, invisible flame that shows only in darkness, pillars of salt, lands made of pyrite, chalk, and ash. It’s a treacherous plane where sulfur and acid flows in rivers. Petrified forests provide the materials they use to construct their homes.
Doubt Sowers are base demons of Deceit appearing as hunched over creatures in ragged layers of clothes and robes, a rotting alchemist mask clings to their face and a long scythe stands in their hand burning in bluish flame. Doubt Sowers channel their power to harvest the lies their victims have sown mending their own bodies as they harm liars and deceivers. They emit a sick green-blue miasma which clings to the lungs and sucks the mana from those caught in their clouds. They can whisper doubt and discord causing magic cast in area of effects to harm or heal both allies and foes.
Deceit Demons are base to greater demons of Deceit appearing as cute or adorable females with grey or black skin and bright white hair. They have small black wings and short horns. They generally have long slim tails with a spade, club, heart, or diamond shaped tip. Generally non-aggressive but when approached they split their cheeks and reveal their maw of sharp fangs which they bite down on the uninformed. They naturally radiate a sense of trustworthiness. Greater Deceit demons have lighter skin in the various shades of arsenic they are less aggressive and can lie about details and cause minor alterations of the physical world.
Hellish Spy are greater demons of Deceit with reddish skin laced in rock salt scales and manes of blue hair. Glass horns jut from their heads like the arms of a bow casting a strange glimmering glamour over them making it almost impossible to hit with accurate attacks. They have small sharp teeth, a long-barbed tongue, and can turn invisible and teleport short distances.
Compulsion Demons are greater demons of Deceit. They are large black skinned demons with grey faces, visible ribs, and two sets of arms, their forearms are clawed fingers while the back ones are longer and tipped with long bone blades. They have four white horns that spiral up from their heads. They can remove a target’s ability to speak truths, summon Deceit Demons, drain life from those they hit with their bone blades, and feed off lies.
Webweaver Demons are greater demons of Deceit with black skin with a greenish glow beneath their skin, their eyes, nose, and maw all glow green they dwell in darkness plotting and conniving twisting the world of Deceit around their fingers beneath the will of Kriek. When confronted or commanded to deal with issues these hulking fiends close in with their claws that can rend through most other demons before you consider the potent acid that runs out from under their clawed nails. They can scramble the positions of those around them forcefully swapping their position. Webweavers make magic sticky… stagnant and harder to draw upon causing more Drain for the same amount of magic. They constantly levitate and can warp themselves at will through space. Their presence radiates toxic mental trauma draining one’s mental energy and focus. They can block healing magic, forcefully draw objects and people towards them and physically slow foes. Webweavers are some of the most dangerous demons.
