An Advanced Creature Profile by Vincent Groth.
The Tolivus are feminine humanoid fae they look like marble statues cracked and broken with hair like bone-white branches jutting out of their heads. They have fly wings and black eyelids, lips, and nails. Their eyes are smaller than most fae of mirror black. Their maws are full of teeth like rusty nails. The Tolivus are creatures of decay and ruin.
The Tolivus can fly, unmake, decay, breakdown, and separate matter into its base materials. The Tolivus spread decay breaking down the old so that the new might grow. They can destroy the artificial with a touch. Tolivus are quiet, their bodies make no noise, and their voices are like the crackle of dead leaves underfoot.
Tolivus and Texursus are in constant struggle to maintain and decay the mortal coil. The Tolvius do their best to break down what’s old, bring back the wilds, and untame the world. There is little gain in slaying Tolivus as their bodies are nothing more than marble and dead wood.
Like most Fae Tolivus are eternal and if their mortal body is destroyed, they will reappear at their designated bed. They never age and remain appearing as fresh adults, or whatever age they choose to appear as. They are highly vulnerable to Iron. Tolivus are weak to tools used to build, repair, and fix things the more they’ve constructed the more powerful they are against the Fae of Ruin.
