The Wax and Wane. Of the Eastern Clans the Wax and Wane are from Dodicerous and are spirits. They form when a immensely powerful Kitsune dies and splits into their light and darkness. These twin vampires always travel together never straying far from one another. 

The Wax and Wane vampires feed off blood of spell casters and the ambient magic in the air. The Wax vampires heal rapidly in Light while the Wane heal rapidly in Darkness. They have powerful senses of magic able to quickly identify spells being cast, channeled, and enchantments. The Wax and Wane vampires are physically stronger than most other vampires. While they lack their own magic, they are experts at manipulating, twisting, and turning spells to their own devices. Magical defenses are not only useless against the Wax and Wane but often turned to the detriment of the caster. Wax vampires can blend into light and command it while Wane Vampires can blend into shadow and command it. 

Wax and Wane vampires must remain with in relatively proximity to one another. They are bound to their twin and if one dies both fade. They are vulnerable to wood foreign to their homelands which hurts them on a spiritual level. When the moons wax the Wane vampires and when the moons wane the Wax vampires weaken to mortal strength. When the Moons are full neither are weakened.
