The Deepkin.  Of the Service Clans the Deepkin are not respected by the other clans. Ugly, vicious, and always plotting the Deepkin dwell in large underground complexes, are expert miners, and produce much of the Vampire Kingdom’s arms, armor, and metal goods.  

The Deepkin feed off the Ambitions of others, after sleeping on the earth of their mortal birthplace Deepkin are fully restored when they wake. They have supernatural senses over touch able to feel the slightest of vibrations, supernatural hearing, and can see in pure darkness but are blind to anything touched by light. Deepkin can take the form of fungus and precious stones and shape soft earth. They can resist the burn of open sky while stone. 

The Deepkin burn when exposed to open sky needing to be underground or in an enclosed space. Deepkin feel extreme pain if someone feels real empathy, pity, or mercy towards them. Obsidian leaves wounds that never properly heal for the Deepkin.
