Vincent Groth. High Scribe of the Hall of Heroes, Binder of the Hall of Heroes, Retired Grand Magi. Vincent Groth is one of Zatolen’s favored Scribes. 

Nicknames: The Binder of Words, The High Scribe, The Grim Pen, The Dark Scribe, Master of the Tragedy, and The Bloody Scribe. 

Vincent Groth a Norgathi Magi who reached the level of Grand Magi with multiple wars under his belt. He has fought across the Gallus lands, down in Magus and Danadane, and drove back the Orkish Horde when they invaded the Spheric lands. Vincent sees only blood on his pale hands, and he writes out his anguish trying to drain the blood on his hands down onto the pages. He writes darker tales, grim tragedies, vain glorious charges, final stands, tales where heroes don’t always succeed and many fall to their vices. The Darkness within is channeled and burned into his works. Groth handles the binding and completion of works in the Hall of Heroes. 

Vincent Groth is tall, pale, and built up like a brick wall. Having retired in his prime after refusing to turn his magical wrath on a village along the coast of Markorath when it refused to surrender supplies for the Evari Legions. He often wears dark gambesons, tights, and coats instead of the more standard robes. He has a neat beard a greying black, though his hair still maintains its dark color and is kept long and braided, though he is forming a widow’s peak.
