Vutha is the valiant heroic Fate who Oaths made in his name cause the breakers to become cursed creatures. He holds up and defends the common folk, he is the most capable fighter of the Gods able to duel Ondra and Zatolen on even ground even if he can’t match the raw power of Zatolen. He is often looked upon as the ideal God never manipulative, never deceptive, and rarely meddling with the lives of mortals. He is the father of the Blue Dragons as well as the Red and Blue Elves.
His Symbol is the Winged Shield – An outstretched dragon’s wing protecting a swaddled child from all exterior threat.
When active on Ithia, Vutha’s Celestial Body is the Shield of Fates. A constellation in the shape of a kite shield that outlines the Northern Muse in blue stars. Due to being the God of Commoners and Heroes Vutha is almost always active.
Vutha’s Divine Realm is undeveloped spending his time in his best friend and mate Talisman’s.
Vutha maintains several artifacts of power including Oathguard a longsword with a blade of magical sapphire which shimmers with power against chaos and evil aligned creatures. It turns all the pain ones inflicted but hasn’t regretted or sought forgiveness for against the one struck. The Pain it causes in this way is felt even by creatures who can’t feel pain normally. It is the embodiment of an Oath that Vutha keeps to himself.
He also maintains the Guardian Oath a shield composed of the splintered remains of hundreds of shields from guardsmen, soldiers, heroes, adventurers, and desperate militia. Lacquered together in blood, oaths, and last prayers. When used to protect another it is impenetrable. When used to protect the weak projects a protective field further than its surface. When used to protect ones loved ones it repels all that dares approach.
The Heart of Purple is an amulet given to Vutha by Talisman, a focus of combined power. It has a heart shaped pendant with a sapphire and ruby starting at separate ends and swirling together into a purple center. It is an artifact that allows Vutha to channel his convictions and will into divine power to keep him standing when physical strength starts to fail.
Vutha is handsome, like all the personal heroes, protectors, and idols of one’s past. He stands proud, he stands to draw attention, to like a beacon draw monsters be they beast or men, he is the fort upon the hill, the light house protecting ships from the rocky shore. He is the bastion, the safety of the hearth, he is every common man who stood against evil and did not step aside. Stands tall with skin of bronze, burning eyes like a father and mother’s conviction to protect and raise their beloved child, his blue hair is kept short and looks like seafoam. He wears blue scaled mail, a dragon shaped helm with plumes of phoenix feathers, and is eternally by Talisman’s side.
Vutha takes the form of a Dragon when he wills it and is worshipped in this form by the Dragons as Vicarium. He is a sleek almost serpentine dragon with four great wings. He is swift, agile, and able to outmaneuver the other Dragon Gods.
Vutha is calm when the world is, bold during turmoil, brave always, and compassionate to those in need. He is a relatively passive god as he sees most of the world’s problems is due to the influences and meddling of his divine relatives. He instead gifts power to those willing to stand against malicious and greedy gods and men. He teaches his flock to stand-up for one another and themselves. He grants his divine servants access to purifying fire that disenchants necromantic magic and purges disease and poison. Allows the channeling of Lightning and creation of auras that repel undead and outsiders.
Vutha is worshipped as one wake each day. It is quiet prayers for themselves and others. They gather on Revansday to share their hopes, the troubles of others who need assistance, and support. His worshippers pray for safe travels and good days. Vutha has no grand temples, no great building projects by nobles or kings, he has his follows worship wherever they can find and keep their people safe. Vutha accepts sacrifices of copper coins which are used to help with projects for the flock. Vutha does not elevate his followers to Sainthood.
