Known across the plane as Mealis, Mealma, Mikarum, The Lady of Light, Lady of the Crusaders, The Pure One, Mistress of the Purge, The Guiding Light, The Dawn Queen, The Eternal Mercy.
Mealis is the Leader of the Gods of Purity and is a member of The Fated Crown, Gods of Order, Dragon Gods, Gods of War, and the Gods of Light.
Holy Books: The Book of Crowns, The Tosk og Hal, and The Book of Scales.
The mother Goddess of Humanity and Wife of Zatolen their love created mankind their opposing selves forged them into steel. Mealis puts herself in opposition against the most powerful of the Gods and makes divine war against Zatolen, Haltheris, Mire, and Sultria. Mealis does not back down and fights her battles personally whenever she can.
Her symbol is the Maiden’s Prayer—two hands are held in prayer, a vine threads between the fingers, and a Lily blooms over the top of the fingers.
The Dread Star—the star Siger surrounded by blackened silhouettes. (for Mealma)
When active on Ithia, Mealis’ Celestial mark is the Caress a constellation that forms a loving hand beneath the Scarlet Star of Zatolen.
Mealis’ Divine realm is a large palace of marble, silver, silk, and all things white. Black footsteps and marks that show Zatolen’s regular presence. While its often kept clean and tidy signs of the many children they’ve raised and are raising leave some signs of chaos. In the throne room Mealis has her throne beside one corrupted black for Zatolen. Her bedroom is cluttered and filled with keepsakes from her children.
Mealis maintains a small assortment of Divine Artifacts including her short sword Salt al sword of molten silver, salt, and fire it radiates power that burns cursed and undead creatures severely.
Ward is Mealis’ simple wooden kite shield with steel bands binding it together. Vines and lily flowers cover it binding it together with unnatural strength. Ward which catches energy on its surface like arrows and turns it into physical wards to increase its protective surface.
The Herald of the True Born a great sword forged by Mealis and granted to her Champion. It has been carried by The Avenger, Roe Hathwaye, and Dorric Wallwell. It channels holy fire around its blade and can cut through armor like a Warhammer spike. It is a potent weapon for Mealis’ chosen champion. Non-Humans cannot hold the Herald.
Mealis appears to Humanity as a mortally beautiful human with soft skin, freckled across her cheeks. Refusing to take on the great and terrible inhuman appearances of many of her fellow greater gods. Mealis’ only inhuman feature that makes it impossible to blend in with mortals is her large mane of golden curls that halo her like a star. Her eyes burn with Falmill like the noon sun. She has an immaculate appearance with well-kept toga, dress, or armor with a long slitted skirt. Here mere presence burns the flesh of the inhuman and corrupt and soothes the pain of her beloved children.
Mealis takes the form of a Dragon when she wills and is worshipped in this form by the Dragons as Mikarum a dragon of fire and light scorching the world around her wherever she lands.
The Greenskins portray her as Mealma and feed her their terror. Mealma is a terrifying celestial ender of worlds. Six wings of burning light searing their image eternally into your eyes. A Halo of fire turned crown sits atop her head. Armor-clad and wielding two cleaver like blades she is the end of times.
Mealis maintains a calm demeanor though is a passionate, fiery, and powerful person. She is fierce and unrelenting never backing down no matter what opposes her. She is stubborn but can change if given enough reasoning and time. Mealis can be protective, loving, and compassionate but struggles with emotions. She grants her divine servants the power to channel searing light, detect intent, cause or suppress pain, and general protection magic. Mikarum is merely Mealis’ dragon form and thus their worshippers gain Mealis’ gifts.
Mealma is meant to be wrath incarnate, terror, fear, rage, burning light that consumes all that it touches. Mealis refuses this portrayal and does not take it or provide it power.
Mealis is worshipped by Plains Humans most heavily and is a god of some power among holy orders and clergy. Smiths. Alchemists, chemists, and other professions who need their product to be pure. Worshippers gather weekly on Revansday for hour long sessions including a community gathering for socializing. Mealis’ clergy build their temples high towards the heavens making massive cathedrals of beauty. They do not build for mere vanity but so that those seeking a place to worship can find them even when lost in foreign cities unable to speak the native tongue their great gleaming spires are visible over most structures. Smaller temples and shrines are common along with traveling priests who visit those unable to find their way to services due to age, disability, or disease. Saints include Sill Revan, Duke Morin, Lianna Lily, Loric Johnson, Duke Orikstag, Dumante Dante, Stephan Tor, Steris Victoria, Roe Hathwaye, The Avenger, and Dorik Wallwell.
Mealma’s lore makes her the end of times and thus she isn’t really worshipped more so feared as an outcome of not worshipping Haltheris.
