Creatures of Ithia: Harpies and Sirens.

The Harpies and Siren are avian humanoids distinguished from one another by several features. Siren’s have arms separate from their wings while Harpies are combined into one limb. Harpies tend to have more bestial features.

The Prideful Siren is marked for its dark skin, golden feathers with red eye like markings, and golden hair. With features of a peacock the Prideful Siren cannot fly but voice enthralls those who hear their song. Prideful Sirens live reclusive lives maintaining small groups of enthralled servants who live to serve and pamper them. Prideful Sirens can only keep control of so many people at a time and their song only lingers for around fifteen minutes. Their thralls cannot act without orders.

The Spotted Siren is one of the most common Siren species with light feathers with black spots. They have matching hair and feathering along the chest and lower legs. Spotted Sirens songs draw people towards them often used to drive sailors into rocks and reefs.

The Great Eared Siren is a less common species of Siren with large wings, vulpine ears, blue feathers with yellow rings on wings and legs. Their ears are furred with the same pattern. Their hair is blonde, black, or red. The Great Eared Siren unleashes an almost musical directional screech which they use to paralyzes their prey.
