Evangalis. Capital of the Humanic Empire, Capital of the Evari, The Sprawl, The Pure City, The Chamber Pot, City of Roads, The White City, The City of Marble, The Grand City, and The City of Light. 

Evangalis is the Capital of the Humanic Empire, the largest city on Dophia, once three separate cities that slowly grew into one massive metropolis. Having assimilated several towns and villages as well Evangalis is a sprawling diverse city where all the people of Dophia come to gather in the seat of Imperial power. Delegates from various races and foreign nations gather here. Evangalis has crowded streets of various species, countless cultures, and a higher-than-average access to technology due to a large Alchemist presence in the city. A vast mixture of cultures bring a selection of cuisine, fashion, and culture and while many species, racial, and cultural divides plague the city mixing has occurred causing interesting twists in style and food.  

Evangalis has the main Hall of Magi, Alchemist’s Guild, Bard College. It also has wonders like the Humanic Imperial Palace, The Senate Hall, The Lower Senate Hall, The Arena of Fates, The Arena of Zerairel, The Colossus of Roe, The Pillars of Salt and Purity, The Grand Fortress of Evangalis, and the Cathedral of Light and Dark.  

Evangalis averages a population of 1.25 Million in various humanoid species. Evangalis is slightly over fifty percent Plains Human making it the most diverse city in the Empire.  

Evangalis has a garrison of ten thousand Legionnaires, the Imperial Honor Guard, The Senatorial Guard, Dozens of Holy Orders, a large garrison of Evari Guard(Though they are often outside of the city working on civic projects, helping with farming, and maintaining roads.) The city has walls segregating the city into several districts that grew out over all confines and from previously separate cities, several large fortifications from the Grand Fortress to the Imperial palace, a few smaller fortifications are spread out across the city to allow easier control of crowds and areas. The City Constabulary maintain several guard houses, maintain many gate posts, and a prison. 

The majority of water to Evangalis comes from groundwater and the great river Nor which flows through the center of Evangalis splitting into a large secondary channel that moves through the Alchemist district is so polluted that one can almost walk on it and rejoins the Nor as it leaves the city.
