Creatures of Ithia: Reptilian Humanoids.

There are many reptillian humanoid species across Ithia. One of the most common group of species are the Slenka, Dales, and Mark. There are many other species from the massive Tythen to the serpentine Maidens.

The Kraggin are small, rattish reptile humanoids, they have spiney hairs over their backs which are painful to touch, stick into skin when touched and can cause infection. Kraggin are small, aggressive, and treated like vermin. They use what they can find or steel and have simple burrows. Kraggin aren’t believed to be sapient. Kraggin like shiny objects and can collect things such as glass, metals, rocks, and at times people have seen them trying to collect water by hand.

The Tallok, members of the Lok species, are medium sized, hunched over reptilian humanoids. These savage tribal reptiles can be found on any temperate or warmer climate. They can craft stone, flint, and bronze tools and weapons and are keen to steel iron and steel weapons in raids. The Tallok worship the Shaper an idea of putting things into order, they are known for taking craftsmen for worship and adding to their weaponry, tools, and eventually religious sacrifices if they prove uncooperative. Like most Lok they wear skull masks on their heads where able. Often carved or painted as decoration. The more complete the skull and more decorated the more value their masks hold in their soceity.

The Caldlok, members of the Lok species, are smaller and stouter than Tallok, more stable, more thickly built the Caldlok shape most of their tools and weapons from bone and wood. They worship the Buried and deny metals. They exclusively use stone, bone, wood, and cloth in creating their armor, homes, and weapons. Caldlok, unlike most Lok, develop keratin shell over the top of their heads, they shed these a few times in their lives. It resembles a horned skull.

Daliedite are the most civilized of Dale species enjoying shallow waters, wetlands, swamps, and plains. Dales maintain villages, forge iron, steel, and are believed to have the ability to build large cities but choose not to. During the settling of Dophia Dales were as advanced as the invading humans with bronze weaponry. Attempts to understand Daliedite culture has concluded that Dales find simple dwellings best as the more separated from nature they become the worse off they are. Dales as a species are defined by a high level of intelligence, and possibly alligator features.

Triceradale, members of the Dale species, larger than Daliedites, less common, and much heaviler armored Triceradales are defined by their powerful crocodilian jaws, the armored head plate, a large horn flanked by two smaller ones, and a large mace like tail.
