Writing Worlds with Words

Gods of Ithia: Helok the Impaled.

Helok the Impaled, God of the Flayed and Ender of Worlds.

Known as Helok the Impaled, The Ender of Worlds, The Unmaker, The Lord of the Flayed, The God Breaker, and The Realm Breaker.

Helok the Impaled a towering nightmare of emaciated corpse-like body. Wooden spikes impale his arms, legs, head, and torso supporting blood-soaked tatters that hang off him in ruins. His eyeless face has a twisted maw like a crack on an egg. A halo of mist and smoke lingers behind his head. Every step spread inertia, drains all energy and ensure whatever he strides no life will ever take root again.

Helok the Impaled is the end. A recycler of dead things. When a world runs too long Helok comes to snuff it out and return its energy to the cosmos so new worlds might rise. He commands the unending hordes of the Flayed. Laying waste to worlds and casting them to ruin. Those Helok recruits to undermine worlds before his arrival are granted the power to drain energy, momentum, to reduce things to stopping. They can summon the lesser Flayed.
