Lantern Mages are a small organization of potent arcanists who specialize in creating magical lanterns and candles. Lantern Mages keep society from collapsing from some severe exterior threats. They are arcane servants of Mealis. 

Lantern Mages drain their Brilliance, their bodies slowly becoming shadowy silhouettes untouchable by light if they use too much of the magic, overuse can leave them forever shadows burned into where they faded. Lantern Mages infuse into light sources enhancements to light, brightness, color, contrast, and the ability to repel monsters, horrors, undead, and outsiders.
