Gate Mages have no formal organization. Gate Mages are the rarest of arcane casters on Ithia. Arcane servants of Bao’Qo most gate mages are vampires, Heralds of Places, but there are a few mortals who learn this magic.  

Gate Mages can distort space shrinking or increasing it in a enclosed space, manipulate, alter, and create portals. Doing so requires focus, time, and materials making their combat effectiveness non-existent. However, they are a rare invaluable resource for the great and powerful. There is generally only single digit amount of mortal Gate Mages at a time.  

Gate Mages have no formal institutions, and thus, have no standardized ranks.
