The Dragonbloods. Of the Warrior Clans the Dragonbloods were the first of the non-aristocratic clans. The first of the Warrior Clans these draconic blooded vampires are elite soldiers, mercenaries, and enforcers of the Vampire nobility. 

The Dragonbloods feed on blood but can survive for periods of time on mortal food. Dragonbloods heal quickly. They can see in complete darkness, possess incredible senses of smell, and distinguish the composition of an object by taste. They can control and take the form of a Drake, breathe fire, have boiling blood, and their mere touch is scalding.  

Dragonbloods burn in sunlight and are vulnerable to severe cold and ice. The Dragonbloods cannot break oaths, purposely lie, or harm the defenseless. Some sub-clans have extended binding oaths.
