The Frostborn. The lowest status of the five aristocratic clans as most of their powers have limited effect on other vampires. The Frostborn are some of the most terrifying apex predators of the living. Few mortals, even full-fledged heroes, can take a Frostborn on in single combat. They have a strong warrior culture and have made up for their lack of powers against their kin with force of arms.  

The Frostborn feed on blood but their bite is lethal. They heal quickly compared to their original species. They have augmented eyesight, heat-vision, and can paralyze mortals when locking gazes with one. Frostborn can command, control, and take the form of arctic creatures including penguins, seals, polar bears, orca, walrus, and some forms of whales.  

The Frostborn burn in sunlight, cannot enter homes without being invited, and cannot violate the rights, health, and life of guests in their holdings. Silver burns to the touch and poisons them like radiation poisons mortals. Their powers and bodies are weakened in higher temperatures.
