The Heralds of Places. The least combat capable of the five aristocratic clans but one of the most useful for their cause. They serve as the fourth most influential clans trading their service for protection and status.
The Heralds feed on memory and experiences leaving what they take foggy, numb, and muted for several weeks. They heal quickly compared to their original species. They have a supernatural sense of doorways, portals, and transitions allowing them to see through anything that obscures a transition such as doors, curtains, and fog. They know everything and everyone who passes through a transition that they can touch. Heralds can control, command, and manipulate portals, doors, and transitions extending and shrinking space connecting doors that do not meet in normal space. Heralds can create pocket-planes, expand interiors, and the most powerful are known to make entire cities in their pocket dimensions. A transition includes doorways, portals, halls, corridors, and any interior that connects rooms, spaces, or places.
The Light of Siger burns Heralds and tends to catch them on fire with extended exposure reducing them to ash in moments. The Heralds have a overwhelming compulsion to clean themselves, spaces, and possessions. Filth and dirt cause physical harm to Heralds burning them like boiling oil.
