A General Primer on Vampires of Ithia. 

The Original Vampires were made in experimentation by the Septrinian to create a more capable predator of Humans due to their high reproduction rates and limited natural predators.  The original curse has mutated, twisted, and by altered over time creating a large selection of various strains.  

The First Sons are the ruling Clan and the first Vampire strain. The mythic Vampire King, the first Vampire, he who killed many of his creators and escaped into the night was of the First Sons. 

Most vampires dwell in the lands of Talis’Vrok once homeland of the Septrinian where The Ash dwells and protects them from the light of Siger. Few journeys to spread terror to foreign lands and rule over the ashlands. 

General Powers 

Vampires tend to possess Heightened Senses based on their clan. 

Vampires tend to possess the Power to Control and/or Transform into creatures or beasts. 

Vampires almost always possess empowered physical traits. 

Vampires require their heart to live, destroying the organ will kill them, preventing it from beating will stun them. 

Vampires require their minds, a decapitation will kill most vampires. 

Vampires require their souls, magic that attack or destroy the soul is highly effective. 

General Weaknesses. 

The Holy Light of Siger burns the flesh of almost all vampires, as does other powerful sources of holy light. 

All Vampires thirst and while most feed off blood some have more specialized hungers. 

All Vampires are allergic to a specific kind of metal or other material.
