Nightmares are a type of Horror made by Sultria’s whims. Generally humanoid in nature, feminine, and twistedly monstrous. They have numerous kinds with specific weaknesses and strengths.  

Harrow are thin feminine figures with hands with black petrified flesh their heads clouds of shadow with glowing eyes and mouths. They often wear what tattered clothing they can salvage and feed off the terror of their victims. 

Greater Harrows are larger feminine figures their hands and heads have turned to long deadly tentacles that secret a toxin that causes a horrific burning sensation. They are fast, wicked, and suicidally vicious. They do not bother with any sense of self preservation and will hurt and kill over surviving. 

Masked Maidens are attractive feminine frames who have skeletal, inhuman faces with too many too big teeth, too large eyes that burn, and jaws that open wide enough to clamp down on a human’s head. When actively hostile two long limbs slide from their back like spear headed serpents that strike out at victims. 

Slomn are feminine humanoid figures with deathly grey skin able to pass as a mortal if they keep their faces covered which are entirely large maws which they use to drain blood from the living.  

Bourai are overly thin, with elongated limbs, and inhumanly busty they have long pointed ears large eyes and inky dark skin that changes to match night sky and dark surfaces.  Bourai produce pheromones to lure victims away from witnesses.  

Soll are strange feminine figures with light green skin, bright green eyes, and long pale green hair. Their bodies are covered in scars and stich marks as they cut themselves to draw upon very useful chemicals created in their bodies. Their blood is highly corrosive, their saliva causes metal to oxidize, and their various organs produce potent alchemical and chemical reagents. 

Krier are strange feminine humanoids who are with the Bourai are the easiest to identify in poor visibility. Krier have hooved feet, leathery skin, thin builds that show off a mixture of muscle and bone, an eyeless face, and a large bone crest from which their hair flows in layers. Krier have a terrifying amount of unnatural strength and rely on echolocation with a constant clicking. 

Idol of Decay are humanoid figures their skin and flesh is transparent with deep glowing red bones, a second pair of skeletal arms rise from their back, their shoulders and head burn in fire with eyes like a view into the depths of hell, and a large set of antlers sprout from their head. Idols bolster their fellow Horrors with an aura that mends their injuries and the light they cast irritates and burns the flesh of mortals. 

Night Mothers are hulking feminine figures with grey skin, glowing eyes, and many long tendrils erupting from their back ending in clawed hands. They have wild manes of hair and large fanged filled mouths. The largest of the Nightmares they are rare but terrifying creatures who can snatch up small homesteads with little chance to fight. 

Mother of Misery are tall, shapely, feminine figures with inhumanly painful beauty like their goddess. Mothers appear like deepest desire wrapped in large leather wings they can summon strong crushing tentacles from their backs. Their eyes when locking with a mortals can rip the thoughts from their minds and leave empty husks in their wake.
