Creatures of Ithia: Ogres

Ogres are a Greenskin species made mostly of pieces of Haltheris and interbreeding between Greenskin species. They are large, muscular, and brutish serving as the leaders of the Horde through brute strength. Ogres are the strongest base species of Greenskin with none originating from plants. *The Horde is the large population density of Greenskins who share an empathic link. They cannot feel emotions or thoughts from fellow Greenskins but can feel their presence. Without many Greenskin minds close enough to feel this link, many will feel small and empty, lose focus, and have a drowning sense of anxiety. This sensation will grow until their hearts give out, or they return to a large population.

Truglin: The least intelligent Ogre species made from Haltheris’ muscle tissue. Truglin are relatively short for Ogres and excessively stout covered in thick fur with large tusks. Their hulking bulk causes them to hunch over onto all fours like a gorilla. Truglin are used to haul siege weapons and siege carts. Truglin can’t function outside of the Horde.

Krog: Krogs are a Ogre and Troll Hybrids. Krog are ambush predators using their stoney skin to blend into mountains. Feral, dim, big, and brutish the Krog is one of the few Greenskins that do not follow the Horde and with actively prey on other greenskins.

Ogkin: Ogkin are made from bears or boars. Ogkin are large brutish Greenskins with large goring tusks, thick fur along their limbs and back, and large batish ears. Ogkin are feral and bestial. They can function outside of the Horde and are used to attack supply and infrastructure.

Ograll: Ograll or Hill Ogres are made by a Cyclops feeding blood to an Orc. These large, dim, hairless brutes are feral and work to undermine the enemies of the Horde from hostile lands. Ograll function outside of the Horde.

Snogre: Snogre are made from moose. These hulking monstrosities are covered in thick white fur with too large teeth, antlers, and over long arms with sharp claws. Snogres are a feral species working outside of the Horde and dwelling in arctic lands. They function outside of the Horde.

Ogre Broodmothers: Female Ogres fed the blood of Haltheris: These large, yellow-skinned Ogres have been made to produce large quantities of Trolls, Orcs, and Goblins.  They generally can’t care for themselves. Broodmothers can’t function outside of the Horde.

Demi-ogre: Demi-ogres are hybrids of Ogres and Urks. Large, cunning, and intelligent for Ogres Demi-ogres are rare but extremely dangerous war party leaders.  Demi-ogres can function out of the Horde for short periods.

Lesser Ogre: Ogres made from rotting logs. These Ogres have green-blue skin, thick hide, and are very aggressive. Lesser Ogres are used as heavy shock troops and manual labor. They can’t function outside of the Horde.

Ogre: Ogres are the mortal bound children of Haltheris not born with the Divine Spark. Ogres are big, powerful, and aggressive. Ogres rule the Horde when there aren’t true Cyclops. Ogres are not extremely intelligent but possessing physical strength only matched by Giants and surpassed by Cyclops. Ogres can’t function outside of the Horde.

Horned Ogres: Horned Ogres or Bull Ogres are a rare genetic variation of Ogre causing the growth of a bone plate over the top of an Ogre’s head and massive horns. Horned Ogres are the largest of Ogres, all male, and can physically overpower everything under a Cyclops. They only obey Ringed Ogres and Cyclops. They cannot function outside of the Horde.

Ringed Ogre: Ringed Ogres are a rare genetic variation of Ogre spawned from either gender and distinguished by bright blue, yellow, and green rings formed around arms, legs, and the torso. Ringed Ogres are natural arcanist, smarter than other Ogres, save the Demi-Ogre, and the leaders of the Horde under the Cyclops. Ringed Ogres can keep Hordebound Greenskins sane by their mere presence.
