Trolls are a Greenskin species almost exclusively made from silicates. Some Trolls rapidly stop bleeding by petrifying their spilled blood, forming excess armor over injuries. * The Horde is the large population density of Greenskins who share an empathic link. They cannot feel emotions or thoughts from fellow Greenskins but can feel their presence. Without many Greenskin minds close enough to feel this link, many will feel small and empty, lose focus, and have a drowning sense of anxiety. This sensation will grow until their hearts give out, or they return to a large population.
The Tide Troll: The smallest of Trolls made of mossy gravel. Standing six feet tall with large, webbed feet and webbed claws. They have large ears and pronounce tusks. Tide trolls have gills and are the most agile Troll species. They can function outside of the Horde.
The Swamp Troll: The larger cousins of the Tide Trolls are made of sulfurous rocks. Standing ten feet tall with a thick hide, elongated arms with powerful claws, and a long whip-like tail. Their blood calcifies when meeting the air and becomes a gritty gravel-like consistency, instantly stopping the bleeding. They can function outside of the Horde.
The Deep Troll: Large, pale, eyeless trolls made from geodes. Standing ten feet tall with leathery hide and sharp crystal spikes growing on their backs. Their blood calcifies rather than petrifies fully. They can function outside of the Horde.
The Lime Troll: The weakest of the ‘true’ Trolls made from limestone. Standing twelve feet tall, heavy set with large, clawed arms. Limestone grows off their back. Their blood petrifies, turning into limestone that provides excess armor to their bodies as they’re injured. It slowly flakes off as the wounds heal to allow continued mobility. They cannot function outside of the Horde.
The Slate Troll: Trolls made from slate. Standing sixteen feet. They develop heavy slate scales on their back, jutting out in angles like spikes. When injured, their blood petrifies into slate with sharp tips. Excess stone slowly flakes off as their wounds heal to allow continued mobility. They cannot function outside of the Horde.
The Granite Troll: The largest species of Troll made from granite boulders. Standing twenty feet tall, they must walk like gorillas as the large granite sheets growing on their heads and down their backs weigh too much for extended periods of bipedal movement. They have rocky flesh, making them difficult to injure. Their blood petrifies into granite, limiting their movement quite quickly. They cannot function outside of the Horde.
The Onyx Troll: Large brutish Trolls made of Onyx. They stand sixteen feet tall with thick hide studded with onyx stone scales, making them the most evenly armored Troll species. They have long horns and the most prominent tusks. Their blood petrifies into onyx spikes. They cannot function outside of the Horde.
The Diamond Troll: These Trolls are made of diamond and a piece of Haltheris’ heart. Standing eighteen feet tall with arms, arms, and back covered in sharp diamond spikes. Capable of actual regeneration, their bodies produce diamond armor over injuries, flaking off only where it impedes movement. They cannot function outside of the Horde.
