The Ruling Castes of the Seasonal Fae Courts.

The Solrai are members of the Ruling Caste of the Spring Court. Tall, thin, gendered Fae with long cloaks and wings of bright-colored feathers. These dark-skinned fae decorate themselves in paint, tattoos, and colorful clothing. They love bright and shiny things. The Seelrai are beautiful and herald the Spring Court to melt snow, coax blossoms, and drive off any lingering Winter Court members from the mortal coil.

The Cherry Dryads are members of the Ruling Caste of the Spring Court. These tall, lithe, feminine fae have great manes of cherry pink hair made of tiny blossoms. Antlers made of cherry wood branch out from their head. Wherever they go, they leave behind carpets of cherry blossoms. They are the most expert of the Spring Court in causing plants to bloom and waken from the chill of Winter.

The Floresce are members of the Ruling Caste of the Spring Court. These tall, thin, feminine fae have the legs of a moose, the wings of a wasp, and antlers of rosewood. They are wielders of the arcane and serve as enforcers of the Spring Court.

Seelrai are members of the Ruling Caste of the Summer Court. These powerfully built fae have large feathered wings with light armored scales along the top. Well-muscled bodies are lightly scaled and sport several shorter, thick horns. They rule over the Summer Court and are all heat, life, and eternal bliss. Summer is not a transitional season and thus, they have few responsibilities.

Titanni are members of the Ruling Caste of the Summer Court. These feminine fae are unnaturally beautiful creatures that can drive mortals mad by merely beholding them. These Fae are hedonistic, demanding, and possess pyromantic powers.

Malteth are members of the Ruling Caste of the Summer Court. These large gendered Fae have bodies of gleaming crystal with manes of living wildflowers. They have natural headdresses, and they keep the Summer Court organized and perform the leadership responsibilities the Seelrai and Titanni put off.

Folmorai are members of the Ruling Caste of the Fall Court. These heavier-set gendered Fae have large wings of Autumn colored leaves and a set of large and watery hair. The Folmorai herald the Fall Court to prepare plants and animals for the coming Winter and drive off the lingering Summer Court members from the mortal coil.

Jack’o’Kings are members of the Ruling Caste of the Fall Court. These large masculine Fae have great carved pumpkins for heads with bodies and horns made of twisting stems and dried-out vines. Light burns from their heads, casting terrible flickering light. The Jack’O’Kings are creatures of story and superstitions, and help enforce the transition period is not interrupted by lingering Summer Court or too eager Winter Court members.

Fall Dryad are members of the Ruling Caste of the Fall Court. These feminine faes are grey with black stripes, and their hair, which runs down to the floor, is covered in beautiful golden leaves. They tend to plants and ensure they are ready for the coming winter.

The Folner are members of the Ruling Caste of the Fall Court. These androgynous Fae are corpselike creatures with large antlers covered in burning candles. Moths cover them and their shroud-like robes. Folner are creatures of decay and life, causing the old to decay and enriching the soil for the future spring.

The Unselrai are members of the Ruling Caste of the Winter Court. These gendered Fae have large feathered wings with bony spines along the top. Horns halo their heads like the absent Star. These spread snow, quiet, and calm. They are creatures of rest and meditation.

The Palgar are members of the Ruling Caste of the Winter Court. These large powerfully built feminine fae wear headdresses and sport large horns of ice and skin like frozen water. These fae are creatures who keep traditions and enforce the will of the Winter Court.

The Muvu are members of the Ruling Caste of the Winter Court. These small, gendered fae, with wings like snowflakes mixed with butterflies, spread winter frost and snow across the land and steal warmth from the air.
