Gods of Ithia: Septriss Lord of Moons

Septriss. God of Magic, Time, Knowledge, and the Moons.

Known across the plane as Septriss, Halkot, The Lord of Moons, The Crescent King, The Lord of the Font, The Time Keeper, The Whispered One, and the Breaker of Veils. One of the most powerful of the Creator deities Septriss is the font from which all mortals and non-Creator gods draw their magic from Septriss. The Gods channel their mortal-gifted divine power through Septriss.

His symbol is the Trinity of Knowledge – An Opened Book for all that is known, A closed scroll for all our ignorance in its crease, and a Quill resting across it for all that can yet be changed.

Septriss does not generally conform to the dreams and thoughts of mortals below. His normal visage is of a tall, dark-skin man. Tall, muscular, with skin as dark as chocolate. A spiral of violet cloth wraps around him, trimmed in mithvalt, gold, and silver. The most potent of arcane Words of Power have been inscribed in his flesh in gold. Those who can pierce the Veil between the divine and mortal spy these words and remain sane can ascend towards divinity or lichdom.

Greenskins portrays him as Halkot, a great Ogre who wears the night as his skin and bears upon it the secrets of the world. Laden in gold with gemstones studded into his hide, his massive hands hold up the two remaining moons of Ithia, ensuring they will never again be used against the Greenskins.
