The Brei are members of the Warrior Caste of the Creation Court. These short, stocky, masculine fae are the origins of one of the largest families of fae, serving as shock troops to the Creation Court. They also serve as mercenary forces to other courts and have proven highly adaptable, able to attune to non-fae metals when regularly exposed.

The Goldbrei are members of the Warrior Caste of the Creation Court. These large, hulking masculine fae are the largest of the Brei. Big muscular bodies covered in thick black feathers and donned sparse golden armor. Their eagle-like heads appear dipped in gold with runoff like the wax on a bottle; it does not seem to interfere with their neck, beak movement, or vision. They are immune to the bite of Iron but become deathly ill from Hawthorn.

The Royalbrei are members of the Warrior Caste of the Nature Court. These slim, elegant, and colorful Brei are the only kind with wings but are still unable to fly. They have large, colorful tailfeathers and platinum armor with golden trim. Their armored heads resemble that of a peacock. They are unaffected by the touch of any Metal, be it from mortal or fae creation. The many eyes scattered over their tail feathers seem to be focus points to their powerful fae magic, allowing them to see through illusions and invisibility, detect lies, and see the true inner self of those who stand before them.

The Furybrei are members of the Warrior Caste of the Harai. They are slim masculine fae who serve as the personal guard of the Harai. They were known for their bright red cloaks with long slits running down their back and over the front of their bodies, twin falchions, pearl masks, and an electrum collar. Close relatives to the Royalbrei, they are immune to the touch of any metal.

The Mercurybrei are members of the Hunter Caste of the Chaos Court. These slim feminine fae have dark, feathered bodies. Their clawed hands are a bane to all metal and can easily cut through it. Their voices can enthrall other Brei.

The Copperbrei are members of the Warrior Caste of the Order Court. These tall, lanky, masculine fae wear heavy trench coats, tall plumed helmets, and large copper bird masks. They have long grey tail feathers and are natural aerokinetics. They are known for line formations using powerful coil guns to focus their manipulations of electricity to deadly effect.

The Silverbrei are members of the Warrior Caste of the Life Court. These slim masculine fae are covered head to toe in armor textured like scales and feathers. Their metal-clad heads resemble those of an owl. They bolster their allies around them, granting wisdom, enhanced reflexes, and a silvery veil of protection.

The Leadbrei are members of the Warrior Caste of the Life Court. These slight masculine fae are covered head to toe in lead-plated armor. They look like sparrows in their facial features and are the smallest of the Brei. Leadbrei absorb healing around them and spread it to their allies, making them a very dangerous martial force.

The Steelbrei are members of the Warrior Caste of the Death Court. Large masculine brutish fae weighed down in heavy steel armor. They have the heads of condors and are the largest of the Brei. They are violent, unorganized berserkers immune to the burn of Iron.

The Ironbrei are members of the Warrior caste of the Ruin Court. These masculine fae have hawkish features on their heads, donned in iron helmets. Full-plate Iron covers their torsos over thick, puffy red gambeson. They have long, taloned feet and immunity to the burn of Iron. They are highly organized and the most sought-after mercenaries in the Fae lands.
